  Error in battery status originates hibernation

Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

  After I unpluged the AC adaptor from my netbook gnome-power-manager
  after a while begins to show that the battery is extremely low and
  begins the hibernation process. It happes about every 10 minutes after
  I turn on the machine, and repeats itself endlessly.
