Title:
putting display to sleep causes small audio dropout

Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

I have set my Dell Latitude X1 to "Put display to sleep when inactive
  for 0:15" (on AC Power).

When this happens, the moment the backlight is turned off there is
  also a small audio dropout/repeated loop/audio buffer underrun (I
  don't know exactly).
