Title:
  gnome-about-me fails to change password after manual password reset.

Status in “gnome-desktop” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  The password does not change, I have tried logging out then back in. I
  can still change my password using the command line 'passwd' but this
  does not change my private directory password or my gnome keyring
  password. Though not strictly a security bug, this could affect system
  security indirectly because it is password related.
