This works for me with aisleriot 3.1.1 on the development version of
Ubuntu, 11.10 "Oneiric"

Title:
  I start AisleRiot with "/usr/games/sol -v  canfield" but it loads
  Demon

Status in “aisleriot” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-games

  Not a lot to add to the summary:
  I set up a menu entry to start Canfield, which is:
  /usr/games/sol -v  canfield
  but Demon loads instead.
  I have another menu entry which loads Freecell:
  /usr/games/sol -v freecell
  which works perfectly. 
  It's no great hassle to load the right game, but it's annoying.
  Any help gratefully received.
