Title:
gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGABRT in raise()

Status in “gnome-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I was unable to change the sound volume when watching a movie trailer
(Real Steel, on IMDB) but I couldn't. The volume icon on the upper bar
had a small square with an X. Usually it shows when the audio is on
mute, but it wasn't this time. Changing the scroll to the right or the
left didn't work and the volume remained the same. Few windows with
bug errors shown, but I couldn't click on then, so I reboot. When the
system came up this bug report window appeared and I decided go go
further and send this bug report.

  Hope it helps.
