Title:
software-center-gtk3 crashed with UnicodeDecodeError in
set_description(): 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xc2 in position 0:
ordinal not in range(128)
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Just wanted to install bibble5-5.2.2_amd64.deb from
http://www.bibble.com/ by means of double-clicking the package-file in
nautilus. Maybe it is worth noting that the package was removed by a
"partial system upgrade" a few minutes before. Nevertheless, as far as
I can remember this is the first time I tried to install the bibble5
package using software-center. Previously I just installed using "dpkg
-i", which worked fine.
