  Display's rotation doesn't leave the screen in a clean state

Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I rotated the screen 180*, then clockwise, and was left with this (see
  screenshot). Changing the resolution back and forth fixed it.
