[Bug 721284] Re: file-roller unable to open zip archives

 

I, too, have this problem. However, the 'archive mounter' utility is
able to successfully mount the archive as if it was external media.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: file-roller

  I have zip and unzip installed, and am able to see inside zip archives
  from the commanline with "unzip -l clam.zip", but when I click on a
  zip file in Nautilus, I can neither see the contents of the zip file
  nor extract it, with file roller.
