[Bug 835935] Re: gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGFPE in g_main_context_dispatch()
I just had the same crash while browsing System Settings. It happened
after I looked at the Keyboard settings although that was coincidental
as it didn't happen again when I restarted. Afterwards the System
Settings had lost the default Ubuntu theme and looked very basic and
chunky until I restarted the System Settings utility at which point
everything seemed to work fine.

Oneiric i386
was using gconf-editor/apps glancing at icon font size for nautilus,
then i closed aps subfolder and try to open an other subfolder
(desktop, ...) but cant: gconf-editor frozen, so i got that crash
