Title:
dip in gnome panel network usage graph on mouse hover
Status in “gnome-system-monitor” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor
(I think I've filed this bug for the right package.) On a standard
Ubuntu 10.10 installation, right-click panel -> Add to Panel... ->
System Monitor provides some resource graphs. Right-click this ->
Preferences -> checking Network enables a graph of current network
transfer speed.
I was transferring large amounts of data, so the network graph was high and quite constant. Every time I hover my mouse on it so that it shows a tool-tip with actual speeds, there is a visual dip in the graph. The actual speeds are not affected.
As far as I can tell this does not happen with the other resource graphs.
