[Bug 833352] Re: nautilus from Gnome 3 is a bug

Thanks for the report, but first of all remember to file one report for
issue and not a meta bug with all the problems you have encounter that
makes things really difficult for us to track and more over for the
developers to fix, said that lets just keep this bug about the
CTRL+Delete problem, which is also being tracked upstream at
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=648658 ; the Ctrl+C Ctr+V
issue is being tracked on bug 827921, please comment there if you're
having that problem and are interested on solving the issue in the best
possible way, Thanks again.

Title:
Change the Ctrl+del key back to Del and use notifications instead

Status in Nautilus:
  Unknown
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
Please, the title of this bug is a serious title while it can offend
  the Gnome designer.

Yet we can no more use the "Del" key to delete a file on our desktop,
we have to press Ctrl + Del to do so, and close to it we have also
Shift+ Del to definitely delete a file from our Drive. We could so
simply mistake the two shortcut keys .

And now Worse, we no more are able to do Ctrl + C and then Ctrl + V !
please , Ubuntu dev, don't let us fall out. We need a patch. If I could I would make a patch myself.
just because Gnome decided to remove those shortcut doesn't mean it is a good design.
  We need a patch, please.
