b, this issue is unreproducible in Ubuntu 11.10, LibreOffice Writer via
the Terminal:

cd ~/Desktop && wget

the two files look the same.

Title:
  RTF export truncates and duplicates hyperlinks.

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  The attached file, when exported as RTF, ends up being truncated, and
  the first hyperlink is messed up. Makes RTF export with hyperlinks
  pretty unusable. This is libreoffice 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu2~lucid1 from
  lucid PPA. I'll also attach the resulting RTF for reference.
