Title:
Document Viewer's area just below the title bar turns invisible while
  opening the previously opened file

Status in “evince” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Description:	Ubuntu 11.04
  Release:	11.04

  evince:
    Installed: 2.32.0-0ubuntu12.2

  Description:
After opening(miximized mode) 2-3 files(.pdf) in Document viewer and minimizing it, open some other window (like web browser or any file browser). In case, if i click the same old file(.pdf) to open(double click) the minimized window appears.. But, the area below the Title bar and above the functions bar of application(where the page number and zoom level setting area) becomes invisible or TRANSPARENT. That is, if i have a browser(chrome) hiding behind the document, i can see the tabs of browser even though the document viewer is active window to be displayed. If I click the title bar of the Document viewer, the problem solves. The transparent area disappears and normal view of the document view is displayed.

What i expected to happen after clicking the .pdg file(which was
previously opened in maximized mode and minimized later) is the
document would have displayed without creating a blank space or
transparent region between title bar(Unity's Global Menu) and
applications feature menu(where zoom level and page number is
  displayed).

What happened is, transparent region occurred and disappears on
clicking the title bar in the global menu(Unity).

Even the libre office responds in the same way the document viewer
  does(by creating a transparent region).
