  gnome-power-manager crashed on removing the battery

  "gnome-power-manager crashed with SIGSEGV in g_str_hash()"

  I had waited for my laptop battery to be fully charged, and when it
  changed state from "charging" to "fully charged" I removed the battery
  from the device. Directly afterward, two crash reports came up, this
  one and one for hdparm which I'll report next.

  System: Karmic alpha, running from a 16GiB SDHC card. Eee PC 901
  (Intel Atom N270, Battery AL-23-901 (the one that came with the
  device), upgraded to 2GiB RAM.)
