Title:
Volumes change name when mounted/unmounted in Nautilus

Status in “gnome-vfs2” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: nautilus

  Example:

My mobile phone is listed as "Sony Ericsson Memory Stick Music Player"
when unmounted, but then it changes to "disk" or "disk-1", "disk-2",
  etc. when I mount it.

This behaviour is consistent with all types of volume. Another example
being a "238 GB Volume" changing to "disk" or "disk-n" in the list.

I think the displayed names should be the descriptive name, not just
the folder name that it gets mounted into.

This is possibly a bug in hal/pmount or something, sorry if it's filed
  incorrectly.
