Title:
User password change is not reflected to keyring
Status in “seahorse” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: seahorse
Recently I discovered that the password I was using appears in a
dictionary, so I changed by login password. Something happened
between the passwd function and seahorse because my password was not
correctly transmitted to seahorse. Seahorse no longer recognizes my
old password either. This makes applets like mail-notify non-
functional, and the password request popups are annoying.
I will monkey around with this, and if I find a fix, I'll let you
know. If you have a fix, please let me know.
