Status in “metacity” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: metacity

  There are at least eight metacity buttons/elements; Ambiance and
  Radiance only implement five.

  Implemented: menu, minimize, maximize, spacer, close

  Not implemented: shade, stick, above

  There would be no disadvantage to implementing these in the theme.
