Title:
  "import gdl" throws ImportError exception

Status in “gnome-python-extras” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Description:	Ubuntu 9.10
  Release:	9.10

  python-gdl:
    Installato: 2.25.3-3ubuntu1
    Candidato: 2.25.3-3ubuntu1
    Tabella versione:
   *** 2.25.3-3ubuntu1 0
          500 http://it.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages
          100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

When i try to import gdl module in a python program or CLI i get this
  message:

  Traceback (most recent call last):
    File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
  ImportError: /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/gtk-2.0/gdl.so: undefined symbol: gdl_dock_layout_get_items_ui

I think something is wrong in python-gdl wrappers or so. Please help
because this is a very useful package.

  Thanks in advance
