  screen content is not updated

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: vinagre

  im viewing a ubuntu 9.10 desktop through remote desktop from my notebook ubuntu 9.10 (same network)
  starting the connection works fine, even login screen shows

  after desktop is displayed, the remote screen content doesnt change on
  local macine.

  The mouse is tracked properly, and clicks have an effect on remote
  machine, just no display changes are transferred to local machine.

  im using visual effects: normal, on both machines.
