  Screensaver does not start

Status in “gnome-screensaver” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver

  In Ubuntu 10.04 gnome screensaver never starts. After the set interval, screens
  fades out but it immediately goes back to normal screen. I tried several screensavers
  including OpenGL ones with the same result
