Title:
New Wave Metacity border glitches
Status in “metacity” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: metacity
While this is minor and not security-related etc it does concern one
of the few Linux themes that is practically finished and professional,
i.e a selling point.
The Metacity border for New Wave doesn't redraw properly when some
program windows are resized. Open a video in Movie Player or Gnome
Mplayer, go full screen and then undo that. The button for closing
windows is now misaligned in terms of outline and background. This
issue doesn't seem to occur with Firefox, Synaptic, Open Office etc.
I did have a go at altering some numbers in the relevant file but it's
over my head really.
Not a lot else I can say, and jargon in a dialogue about this would
throw me soon enough I'm sure, but presentation is important.
Thanks for your time.
