  Epiphany stops refreshing once Googlemail is loaded

Status in “epiphany-browser” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: epiphany-browser

  When I load Googlemail in a tab in Epiphany and open a message the
  display freezes.  The browser continues to react normally, and I can
  cause the display to refresh by scrolling up and down, but in between
  it does not refresh or give any visual indication that it is not
  frozen.  I am using the Ubuntu global appmenu if that is relevant.
