Title:
  I installed ubuntu 9.04 and upgraded it ti 9.10. I use this version on
  my Toshiba satellie pro sp6100 as it is the only version of ubuntu
  that will see the wireless card in this laptop. but the sound is not
  working at the moment.

  No versions of ubuntu has worked with the yamaha sound card in this
  computer. i tried 10.4 and 10.10 versions and the sound hasn't worked.
