Title:
Rhythmbox cannot properly play musepack (mpc) files

Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: rhythmbox

I have many songs in my music collection in Musepack format. This
  format makes rhythmbox behave strangely:

  - I can't hear the song playing after pausing mpc file (the song progress indicator stays freezed)
  - I can't hear the song playing after skipping to some point in mpc file (as above the song progress indicator stays freezed)
  - After mpc song finishes, rhythmbox cannot play another song (regardless of format) until restarted.

I suppose that it can have something to do with gstreamer. However I
don't know how to properly debug gstreamer, and rhythmbox -d didn't
  show anything interesting.

Rhythmbox behaves like that on basically every mpc song I have. There
is one such example in attachment.
