Title:
  there should be a easy way to reach the configuration GUI in Natty
  Unity

Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

  I am not sure if gnome-control-center is installed by default on Natty
  but it, or some similar package, should... and it should be stick to
  the bar in the left from get go, cause there is no way for new users
  to locate the Admin and Preferences icons like it used to in Ubuntu-
  Classic (gnome), cause they cannot guess what to search for, and
  alphabetically is NOT a good way to browse for them

  gnome-control-center at least acts like a Control Panel (from Windows)
  and have a "familiar" effect with the bonus of keeping the adjusts in
  one place, unless the "all over the place" is the way to go for Ubuntu
  now
