  This message popped up when I was in UBUNTU software center and tried
  to download the program GIMP. Gimp works now. This after I made a
  second attempt to download the GIMP, which seems to have been
  successful.

  second attempt to download the GIMP, which seems to have been
  successful.

  The error message that popped up, it said that it was desired that this case should be reported
  I use: 
  4.0-0ubuntu8 (lsb-release)
  0.8.3ubuntu7 (apt), with ekstras Compression method of 7Z format in 7-zip program (lzma)
  0.39ubuntu1 (apt-xapian-index)
