Title:
brasero fails to create video DVD

Status in “brasero” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: brasero

I tried to make a video DVD to be played in a DVD player using several
.avi files. I had the DVD set to use Native settings (North American
settings). Brasero doesn't convert the files to MPEG2.

I was able to make a (s)VCD and a VCD earlier using Brasero and a CD-R
  and CD-RW.
