The same problem exists with Open Office but not in LibreOffice under
Windows7.

  Footer screwed up if document is saved in MS docx format

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I a footer is created with "file name" on the left," version" in the
  middle and "page x of y" on the right and the file is saved in MS 2007
  docx format, the footer is screwed up when the document is closed and
  reopened.
