Title:
Website login just hangs in Firefox (but works on Windows)
Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Trying to log into https://www.starone.org in Firefox 5.0. Even with
all add-ons removed, login just hangs forever, whether I put in my
real account number or a fake one (which should give me a prompt error
message. With Windows XP or 7, Firefox 5 can do this just fine, even
with my regular add-ons. I am using Natty-x86. I tried disabling the
firewall, too. Website manager claims other Linux users have no
problems as long as they accept cookies (done) and enable JavaScript
(done).
