  Through Synaptic, I installed several UbuntuStudio packages:

  sounds
  graphics
  -audio-plugins
  recording
  generation
  font-meta

  Afterwards, I ran 'Update Manager' to see if any were available. While
  downloading, I received the error pop-up window.
