[Bug 814623] Re: on resume thunderbird shows an empty account window

 

Since a few weeks, the empty window problem has gone for me. Can you
please check if the problem still exists with the newest oneiric and set
the status back to confirmed?

Status in “thunderbird” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Thunderbird was working fine the prior day, but today after waking up
  the computer it resumes showing an empty account window.  All e-mail
  is missing and restarting the application does not recover it.  I
  verified the application did close and wasn't just spinning in the
  background.  The only means I have found to recover this is to replace
  the $HOME/.thunderbird directory with one from a working system.
