[Bug 840455] Re: banshee failed to exit on logout and started using 100% cpu

I have just had an issue with this on the 11.10 beta on my eee 901.

First run of banshee with no media (the intention to change the location of the music to scan my NAS), it did nothing after pressing for preferences.
Then checked with system monitor and it was chewing up 100% cpu, I killed the banshee process and it caused a kernel panic and crashed out to terminal.

Title:
banshee failed to exit on logout and started using 100% cpu

Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I logged out to change my language settings, then decided to try the
guest account. Later I noticed that banshee didn't exit properly (from
my normal acc) and was eating my cpu.

Also the apport package hooks seems to have crashed when I ran ubuntu-
  bug banshee.
