Title:
Freeze if it fail to display an image
Status in evolution package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
From time to time, evolution fail to display/load some mail in previewing:
- the previewing is displayed, but without the expected built-in image
- in that case, evolution rise cpu usage to 100 % and nothing can be done to switch to an other email preview or kill that failing preview.
- either evolution crash itself (rarely) or i need to kill its process, then reload evolution.
It seems necessary to deal with such a case:
- set a timeout to exit the preview to avoid the whole freezing : simply let the preview not displaying the image if it cant do it.
- or switch to the next email (but the above idea semms better designed)
- displaying a popup explaining why it fail: missing image format or else.
