[Bug 1280213] Re: linux-image-3.8.0-35-generic displaylink fails
John Bradshaw, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu
better. 12.04.4 reached EOL on August 2014. For more on this please see

Is this an issue in a supported release?
If so, could you please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:
apport-collect 1280213

Bug description:
Upgraded kernel to linux-image-3.8.0-35-generic, displaylink adaptor fails and laptop reverts to built-in display.
Booted back into 3.8.0-34-generic and displaylink adaptor working oK.
This line is repeated 239 times in Xorg.log on the .35 kernel. Nothing with the .34 kernel.

Old and New Xorg.logs attached... kernel version is at top of file.
