Title:
Screen corruption Unity search
Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Often when using unity search tool (top button) a rapid page painting/corruption occurs often resulting in a lockup requiring reboot.
Not sure exactly how it originates. but the repainting can go on for some time with frozen mouse and frozen keyboard(cannot call for term) ctrl+alt+T not usable for term and reboot.
CPU seems to be frozen. occasionaly have got up sys mon and CPU load stuck at 100%.
