Title:
System fails to operate.
Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Without notification, the system boots up but fails to operate. The screen goes black, only the mouse arrow works.
On the same machine I installed "Boot repair" running from a DVD. Ubuntu live worked fine. Checked all the hardware of my computer, all is OK.
Note that there was no update prior to shutting down the PC.
