[Bug 1308787] Re: The orange frame that indicates a resized window isn't going away
Eric Promislow, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu
better. 12.04.3 reached EOL on August 2014. For more on this, please see
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/LTSEnablementStack and
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases .
Is this an issue in a supported release?

Title:
The orange frame that indicates a resized window isn't going away
Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
You know when you move a window towards the edge of the screen and
Unity decides to maximize it, and highlights it with an orange frame
and shadow to let you know that it's messing with you? This time the
frame didn't go away when I pulled the window away from the edge.
I know about "sticky edges" and that toggle has no effect on this behavior. But the general behavior isn't what this
bug is about. It's that it looks like I'm going to have to log out to fix this.
