[Bug 1419391] Re: LANG=C environment breaks clock

 

In your first screenshot the clock is not gnome-panel's clock, but
indicator-datetime clock. Reassigning to correct package.

Bug description:
  When the environment contains LANG=C (in .pam_environment, for
  example), the clock in gnome-panel disapears if it is either in
  12-hour format, or it displays seconds.
