Title:
Xorg freeze
Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Full screen freeze appears at random, several times per day. I am not
sure, but it seems to happen more often after I start Skype
- The screen completely freezes for about 30 seconds after I open a new window. It might be that window rendering even did not finish: window can be transparent in locked status or some fonts are rendered half-way
- The notification bar is frozen, no drop downs, system monitor graph stops.
- I need to open Terminal, wait 30 seconds until screen comes alive again and then I can type reboot and system is ok again...
Side note:
- In 13.10 Skype status change symbols appeared instantly. Ever since 14.04, it takes about 2 seconds before new status appears
- I lost the Sound Indicator from the notification bar for some unknow reason
Dont know if cause of bug is xorg or notify-osd or ... ?
