Title:
gedit crashed with signal 5 in _XReply()
Status in gedit package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Before Gedit crashed the machine appeared to be far busier than it
should have been considering what I was doing (browsing one web page
and editing a text file).
Note that Gedit was set to stay on top and moving the mouse cursor
over it caused the pointer to disappear.
