[Bug 841369] Re: English (South Africa) Language Pack is installed by default in Mozilla Firefox

 

This is because they are shipped in the same language pack, and matches
how English languages are distributed for all other applications on the
system (eg, language-pack-en-base, language-pack-gnome-en-base etc).
Deviating from everything else on the system would require Firefox-
specific workarounds in language-selector, so this is a wontfix

  In addition to the 'English (GB) Language Pack', 'English (South
  Africa)' is also installed by default in Mozilla Firefox on Oneiric
  Ocelot. This is not useful to everyone and it is a repetition.
