[Bug 1406322] Re: screen with tears
arnim kracht, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu
better. As per http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-
page.aspx?pid=4147#bios an update to your computer's buggy and outdated
BIOS is available (F9). If you update to this following
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BIOSUpdate does it change anything?
If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

hello
when using the internet (only) after some minutes the screen does show flickering tears. . xorg and other programs are up to date, as well browsing several blogs and implementing their tips didnt help very much, computer data (as i can find them...)

the same problem appeared around 2 years ago when i implemented ubuntu 13.xx or 13.xx, which was solved by uploading an old kernel....
