Title:
Pages consume 10% cpu each, is a top available per page?
Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: firefox
Hi,
When I visit pages from this website (e.g.
http://www.automatiseringgids.nl/technologie/telecom/2010/28/iphone-4
-toch-gekraakt.aspx) the cpu load of firefox-bin increases per page.
This by itself is a problem to be investigated.
I know there are quite some sniffer scripts, etc. connected to each
page which I could block with plugin "add block plus" (filters from
dr. evil, germany), I would like to select the item responsible for
that cpu load. Is accounting available inside firefox in the form of
'top' or 'ps auxw' to identify those items responsible for the cpu
load?
Gerben
