Title:
If firefox is removed and firefox-4.0 is installed, there are no
search providers
Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: firefox
I've been running the latests build of firefox, and firefox-4.0 from
the ppa:ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa.
For some or other reason, The update on firefox was failing, so I
removed it, but left firefox-4.0 installed. After this, firefox-4.0
had no search providers. I did a compleate reinstall of firefox-4.0.
But that did not help. Once I reinstalled firefox, firefox-4.0 was
fixed.
