Henrik Treadup, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu
better. As per http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z97A/HelpDesk_Download/
an update to your computer's buggy and outdated BIOS is available
(2205). If you update to this following
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BIOSUpdate does it change anything?

If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Title:
  X often freezes after resuming from hibernate

Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  X seems to freeze for me very often when resuming from hibernate. It
  usually does not happen if the computer has just been hibernating for
  less than an hour. It happens in the mornings or evenings when the
  computer has been hibernating for a couple of hours. It does not
  happen every day but seems to happen every 3 or four days.

  The motherboard comes with a built in graphics card.
