[Bug 974019] Re: Does not remember the sort order

would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers
of the software by following the instructions at

  Does not remember the sort order

Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Nautilus 3.4.0 does not remember the sort order of folders.

  To reproduce:

  > Try to manually arrange the items on the desktop (with keep-aligned
  off), then log out and log back in and notice that nautilus sorts the
  items in default alphabetic order.

  > To to change the sorting of a folder to 'Modified Date' +
  'Reversed', navigate away from the folder and then come back to notice
  that nautilus changes the sorting back to alphabetical.
