I solved the problem reinstalling Ubuntu again, but thanks a lot for your
answer !!! The problem was a bad installation.

  Screen resolution

Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  My monitor resolution is 1440x900, but i can only choose these resolutions: 1280x1024, 1024x768, 800x600. I tried to update additional drivers, but it says that there's no additional drivers.
