Title:
no way to choose default user in lightdm
Status in lightdm package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
When a machine have several users, lightdm show then sorted by name
and the users dont have any way to change that order.
that can be annoying, example:
all laptops have a admin user and the normal user. As admin starts with "a" , its the default user always, ready to enter the password... this forces the machine user to select its user and enter the password.
Per bug #857651, we cant hide the admin user... lightdm doesnt
remember the last used username nor use it as the default and (AFAIK),
there is no way to change the user order.
the only workaround is to rename the user to z-admin or something, so
it gives room to the other user, but either way, as its now lightdm is
too much locked for a single user system
