Title:
transmission-gtk crashed with SIGABRT in event_errx()

Status in transmission package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
probably the only bug is the fact that this error message presented
  itself.

  What I expected:
I shut transmission down very quickly after start up. I expected Transmission to close & then nothing to happen.
  what happened:
I briefly opened transmission to see if any downloads were waiting for a session.
Seeing no jobs requiring attention, I then quickly shut transmission down again, whereupon the error message presented itself.
