FROM Bug 647633 - "do this automatically for files like this from now on" is disabled most of the time Stop for a second and consider WHY DOES Menu_OPTIONS_APPLICATIONS exist?? The dialog contains a check box labelled "Always do this action from now on". Checking this option does not work: When I download a file of the same type next time, the same dialog is displayed again. This feature is broken for as long as I can remember (> 10 years). It's time it was fixed (or removed).
